Great vibes but service fell short
We had a nice stay! The lobby music created a chill vibe, and Room 1103 was super cozy and newly updated. Dinnertime at the Jefferson Taproom was a bit disappointing, though—waited ages for drinks and silverware! The in-room breakfast was also a letdown with soggy waffles. Overall, I’d say it’s okay but not quite a luxury experience.

We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful spa treatments and relaxing in the outdoor pool during our stay. The amenities were fantastic and it really helped us unwind after a busy day exploring. A little tip, sometimes the menu runs out of popular items, so it’s good to have a backup plan for meals! 😊

The outdoor pool was a highlight! Enjoyed lounging there with great views. Rooms need a refresh, though, and we faced some issues with remodeling. All in all, worth a trip! ☀️

We enjoyed our stay, especially the expansive spa with its beautiful adults-only Serenity Garden. The spring-fed Octagon Pool was a highlight for relaxation, providing a peaceful refuge for my large dog and family while indulging in wellness activities.
In my wife’s opinion, the indoor activities for kids were lacking and should be free. It would be great if the hotel offered more complimentary options for families.

The Homestead boasts beautiful grounds and a charming historical atmosphere. While the spa experience was exceptional, the resort had its challenges, such as outdated rooms and a lack of reliable service. It’s a lovely spot for families, just be prepared for some quirks during your visit.

Couples seeking a mix of history and charm
You can tell there’s lots of history, and it feels great to know that, but there are somethings that need upkeep or maintenance. The staff felt genuinely invested in our experience, especially when they personally brought us extra towels without us even asking.
To stay here, you gotta be prepared to fork over some cash, but overall it felt worth it.
